Expert in occupational health and safety discusses new business management models in uncertainty scenarios.
The second talk of the Globaltalks by GAN series, organized by Carver University, took place with great success, where prominent international professionals share their views on issues that impact on the current work and academic environment. On this occasion, the event was attended by Dr. Pablo Yáñez, Director of Occupational Risk Prevention at Acciona, a leading company in the management of infrastructure and renewable energies, present in more than 60 countries.
Dr. Yáñez, who holds a PhD from the School of Industrial Engineers of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and a degree in Labor Sciences from the Open University of Catalonia, has more than 26 years of experience in the field of occupational health and safety. During his talk, entitled “New management models in scenarios of uncertainty”, he offered a global perspective on the actions that companies are taking to adapt to the constant social and economic changes.
More than 300 people from different South American countries joined the event, where the transformation of the world of work was discussed and the complex environment in which global business is developing was analyzed. Dr. Yáñez stressed the importance of both an internal and digital transformation in organizations:
“Companies we start looking inward to generate that change of values that we need, and all this must be accompanied by a digital transformation in business,” he stressed.
