Carver University launches series of certified talks open to the public

Experts from different fields of knowledge will address the challenges of the present and the future, such as artificial intelligence, climate change, business management and innovation.

With more than 370 people simultaneously connected from different countries in Latin America, Carver University launched #CarverGlobaltalks by GAN, a series of certified talks, online and free, open to the public.

In this forum, experts from different fields of knowledge will address the challenges of the present and the future, such as artificial intelligence, climate change, business management and innovation.

This series of talks began with the conference "Generative AI: Magic or Science?" by Tetiana Klymchuk, Ph.D. in Mathematics, researcher and professor at the International University of Catalonia in Barcelona, with a solid background in natural language processing and deep learning.

"Generative AI is inspired by how our brain works and, contrary to what many people think, it does not rely on databases, but on learning processes. If we want to ensure the quality of the ChatGPT response, we need to verify the generated information to ensure its accuracy," she explained.

During his presentation, Klymchuk also noted the need for institutions and governments to act as regulators to ensure the responsible use of AI. Watch the recording on our YouTube channel.

The next #CarverGlobaltalks will be held on October 16 and 30, featuring Dr. Pablo Yáñez and Dr. Pedro Mondelo, respectively. Details on each date and registration forms are available by clicking here.
