Artificial intelligence and technologies for a sustainable future: a new talk by GlobalTalks by GAN
In a latest edition of the cycle of talks, Carver University had the privilege of having the participation of Dr. Patricia Möller, Bioinformatics engineer and PhD in Biotechnology, recognized for her leadership in research applied to disruptive technologies in the agribusiness sector.
March 27th, 2025
The conference, conducted 100% online and with international connections, allowed attendees to learn in depth how artificial intelligence and new technologies are transforming areas such as fruit production and environmental risk management.
Currently, Dr. Möller is leading several high-impact projects, including OK FRUITAPP, a mobile application that allows field evaluation of fruit quality in orchards, improving the efficiency of production processes. He is also developing an innovative app capable of predicting forest fires, a tool that seeks to anticipate emergencies and reduce environmental impact by analyzing data in real time.
Her trajectory and commitment to innovation were recognized in 2024 when she was highlighted by Forbes Chile as one of the 50 most powerful women in the country thanks to her contribution to scientific and technological development from an applied perspective.
In this way, Carver University reinforces its mission to connect global leaders with students, academics and professionals through interdisciplinary conversation spaces that address the challenges of the present with an eye toward the future.
GlobalTalks by GAN will continue through 2025 with new sessions focused on innovation, sustainability, digital transformation and leadership, promoting open access to knowledge and the global exchange of ideas.
