We know that many questions arise when choosing your university, that is why we have compiled the most common questions about Carver University. We invite you to review this information to answer your questions and learn more about what we have to offer.

1) How does the study modality at Carver University work?
Carver University's programs are taught in 100% online mode (distance education), combining synchronous (live) and asynchronous activities through the Canvas academic platform.

Live classes are held weekly via Zoom, at a scheduled time according to the area of Orlando, Florida (United States), generally starting at 5:00 p.m. All sessions are recorded and are available on the platform for later review.

Additionally, each course includes at least one weekly instance of office hours, where students can meet with the teacher to solve doubts, deepen content and receive personalized academic guidance.

The language of instruction corresponds to the one selected by the student at the time of enrollment. However, some supplementary academic resources can be found in English.

Through Canvas, students access course content, class recordings, evaluation activities, discussion forums, and communication channels with teachers and academic support.

This modality allows you to study from any country and device, as long as you have an internet connection, promoting flexibility and continuity in the training process.

3. In case of having previous higher education, the corresponding transcripts must be presented for validation evaluation.

Additional considerations

5) How are payments made?

Step 1: Notification and access to the invoice

The student will receive an automatic email sent by Flywire to their personal email. This message will be sent in English from Carver University with the subject line "Reminder: Your payment is due". The email will indicate the amount of the outstanding fee and will include a button or direct link called "View Invoice", which will allow access to the corresponding invoice.

By entering the link, the student will be able to view the invoice, change the language if they wish and make the payment directly. You can also choose to pay the full amount or select the available installments. It is not necessary to reply to the email, as it is an automatic payment notification message.

Step 2: Enter the country and payment amount

Once the institution has been selected, the student must enter the country from which they make the payment and the amount they wish to pay. Subsequently, you will need to click on the "Next" option to continue. At this point, the system will display all the available payment methods according to the country and the selected institution.

Step 3: Selecting the payment method

Flywire will display the total amount in the corresponding local currency for the available options. Payment methods may include:

Standard bank transfer (wire transfer), generally considered to be the cheapest option. This method requires coordinating with the bank to send the funds to Flywire in your chosen currency.

Debit or credit card, which allows online payment in the local currency. In this case, Flywire handles the currency exchange.

Some options may not be available in all countries or for all institutions. In case the local currency is not displayed, the student can choose to pay in the currency of the institution or select another currency using the option "I want to pay in another currency". In this case, the payer's bank will handle the currency exchange before sending the funds to Flywire.

Step 4: Enter payer information

The payer must provide their personal data, corresponding to the holder of the bank account or card used to make the payment. Subsequently, you will need to tick the Flywire Terms and Conditions acceptance box and click "Next" to continue.

Step 5: Enter your payment information

At this stage, the information required by the institution must be completed. Likewise, the contact details and information corresponding to the selected payment method must be entered. Then you must select the "Next" option to continue.

Step 6: Review and confirm information

Before finalizing the process, the system will display a summary with the payer's information and payment data. It is important to verify that all the data is correct. If you need to make any modifications, you can use the "Previous" button. Once the information is confirmed, you must click on "Pay" to continue.

Step 7: Making the payment according to the selected method

If the payment is made by bank transfer, the system will display the corresponding instructions, including the Flywire bank account details. The student will be able to download a copy of these instructions in PDF format. It is important to note that Flywire will not ask for the payer's bank account details.

If the payment is made by credit card, the card number, the name of the cardholder, the expiry date and the security code must be entered. This process must be completed within a maximum of 15 minutes to prevent the session from expiring.

In the case of using online payment methods, the student must log in with their credentials of the selected method and follow the instructions indicated by the system to complete the transaction.

6) What body authorizes Carver University and how is its degree validated in other countries?

Carver University operates under license from the Florida Department of Education, Commission for Independent Education (CIE) (License No. 12743), which is responsible for licensing and supervising independent higher education institutions in the State of Florida, United States.

At the end of the program, students receive their academic degree and their official transcript in digital format. In addition, they can request the issuance of these documents in physical format, including the apostille in accordance with the Hague Convention.

The apostille certifies the authenticity of the document for international use. However, the recognition, homologation or validation of the degree in other countries will depend on the regulations and procedures established by the competent authorities in each jurisdiction.
